As artisan roasters, their philosophy is to select only premium grades of coffee from the world’s foremost growing regions. Their coffee is then batch roasted in the time honoured Italian tradition, with roast sizes kept small so they are able to roast to your order. Established in 1997, in Devonport on Auckland’s North Shore, Chiasso Coffee Co has since gained a reputation for premium, fresh roasted gourmet coffees. They now supply many of the leading cafes and restaurants in Auckland and throughout New Zealand with their coffee, and assist with all aspects of creating the best possible espresso from their fresh roasted coffee.

Chiasso understand that fresh coffee is only one part of the equation in creating a successful, busy cafe, which is why they are dedicated to ongoing Barista training. Training is offered both onsite at your caf as well as more in-depth courses which are held at the Training School in their Devonport Roastery. With their unique Machine Servicing Programme they keep a close eye on your espresso equipment, so that preventative maintenance can be carried out ahead of time. This keeps down time to an absolute minimum and means that everything is in tip-top shape at all times!
