Caf magazine is a national quarterly magazine published in March, June, September and December. Approximately 60% of its readership is the modern caf goer who either buys it at a retail outlet or selected caf, or picks it up from the magazine choice at their favourite caf. A minimum 1,000 copies per issue are sent to cafes quarterly, resulting in around 200,000 readers amongst a demographic of all people 20-45.
Caf magazines regular readers have a higher than average disposable income and enjoy good espresso, food and wine, and visit cafes and restaurants on a very regular basis. In a 2005 survey of 418 people closely associated with the caf fraternity, 33% voted Caf magazine both their favourite home reading and industry reading. The closest other magazine rated 23.6% while all other magazines achieved only single percentage figures.
