CAF KATi
Since opening in September 1990, CAF KATi has been a San Francisco favorite, consistently earning a Zagat food rating of 25 and higher and receiving international acclaim. As Chef/Owner, Kirk Webber take pride in making CAF KATi a friendly restaurant with some of the best food in town. Throughout these 15 years, their concept of cooking has remained consistent: to complement the finest local ingredients with spices from Asia and beyond.
They have been fortunate to receive many honors throughout the years. In 2002, they co-created and launched Caf California, a Kirk Webber Restaurant in downtown Tokyo. Caf California features a CAF KATi-style menu was designed under Kirk Webbers guidance. In 2004, Kirk Webber received the prestigious “Chef of the Year” award from California Culinary Academy, an honor he shares with esteemed chefs including Alice Waters and Roland Passot.
