Altezano
Altezano is a family owned coffee roasting business established in 1999. Altezano prides itself on ethical business practises, building strong customer relationships, and of course sourcing the best coffee from around the world. Altezano Coffee Roasting Company made its debut at the 2006/2007 Coffeefest, New Zealands coffee roasting competition.
The roastery was originally sited at 233 Symonds Street, but soon the company had grown to a point where a bigger roaster and dedicated roasting site were needed. All their beans are roasted separately so that each origin does not lose its unique flavour characteristics. Because they blend after they roast, they are also able to send you single origin coffee. Discovering which style of coffee you enjoy is one of the pleasures of coffee and they offer a range of blends that will satisfy discerning palettes. Altezano stole the show, winning four medals to be the most awarded boutique roaster in the country.
